Mojang Studios on Yesterday will inform Minecraft users that the company will stop supporting Minecraft for Solaris next year. The decision to stop supporting their Minecraft game development will not come as a surprise to most users.

"On January 9th, 2018, Mojang will be stop supporting Minecraft for the Solaris," said Markus Persson, game manager for Minecraft, told CNET. "Both Minecraft Java and Bedrock Edition 1.12 were released earlier this year for Windows, Mac and Linux and will continue to be available on those platforms."

I've just created a VPN server with Comodo unit, and I'd like my friends to join me on Minecraft. How to do it?

Andrew Constandache
Answer by Andrew Constandache

You will need to make that VPN server routable, which means you will need to assign a public IP in order for other clients to connect to it and also, since Comodo deals with firewall and security, please make sure you allow incoming connections to the server so the client can connect. On the other side, perform pings to the server so you can see it responds to ICMP packets to make sure the server is visible in the multiplayer list of servers then ask the other client to try and connect and monitor the logs to see if the traffic is correctly redirected to the machine running the server.

I just got a full Minecraft account but I don't understand the difference between the premium one and the normal account. Could you help me out?

P
Answer by Pete Clapp

There are no significant differences except for the fact that the Premium account is actually a paid account and the normal account is free. Free accounts do not get access to the servers. That is all.

No, Minecraft doesn't need Java runtime anymore. This was available in the previous versions, but with the latest updates, all the necessary files have been bundled with the installation eliminating the need to install the java Runtime separately.

However, some modules still need it, but Microsoft released the latest version with all the runtime files places in the installation directory. Minecraft launcher should detect it automatically.

Minecraft is an Xbox console exclusive product only. It was released for PC and any other operating systems, but since we are talking about consoles, a representative stated that when Xbox exclusivity runs out, then it will be taken into consideration if the game will be ported to Vita or not.

How do I dab in Minecraft?

R
Answer by Robert Polubinski

There is no default option to dab in Minecraft. A mod is necessary to be installed in order to do that. Luckily, there this mod is available for installation from the link posted below. Also, you have to install a mod loader, because the JAR files won't work without them.

Here is the link to the DAB mod: https://mods.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/258582-dab-mod

Read the description of the software to learn how to properly install the mod and what else needs to be installed as well.
